I went shopping at Dick Blick the other day, and I bought some more Pitt artist pens along with another pad of marker paper. After I got home, I found my cat playing with the Dick Blick bag. It is officially his new best friend.

I think I'm developing a new addiction to these little animal erasers. Some of them are from Japan and they are so cute! I already have a huge collection of little porcelain animal statues, so I think that is where the attraction is coming from. I keep telling myself that I can use them to erase, but I don't want to!!

I drew this set of inchies at work during my lunch hour last week. Originally, I intended to make them all zentangle inchies, but all these little critters, bizarro and nature things started popping up, wanting their own inches.

I'm becoming fascinated with hand lettering after following Don Moyer's alphabets on Flickr, and then I found a web site called Letter Playground. I've been trying to draw some of my own hand letters. Here is my first attempt at a "C" made from cupcake doodles. I made a smaller one to post on Letter Playground and I also made a "U" with a bird.

I've been trying to draw my bosses head for a couple weeks now, and I think he is beginning to think that I have a crush on him because I'm always staring at him. I don't fancy him. I'm just having a hard time capturing the shape of his melon!
So in an effort to nail down the shape of his head, I drew two other co-worker's heads as a contrast to his. I think I may have almost captured it now. He is the one on the right with the mustache!
