Migrainelupe

I created a patron saint of Migraines because migraine sufferers need their own saint. Her name is Migrainelupe. I've made several collages about her. This is my latest one. Lately, I've been feeling like I need some divine intervention with my head pain. Check out my Flickr photo set under Migrainelupe for the other collages.

  1. They actually do have patron saints of Migraines.
    PATRON SAINT INDEX TOPIC
    migraine; against migraines; migraine sufferers

    These are the three saints:
    •Gereon
    •Severus of Avranches
    •Ubaldus Baldassini
I don't know the full stories on all of them. So, I don't know exactly why they are the patron against Migraines. I do know that Gereon was beheaded, that "might" be why he is!
But, I really like your patron Migrainelupe. She is really cool and you did a great job!

  3. She is adorable and I don't care about Saints... Come and look at some of my new journal pages. Hope you have a migraine free day. I am on day 13 with NO MIGRAINES....the anti seizure meds are working. Take Care and love your Saint :)

  4. I love the new migrainealupe. On my trip I saw a statue of a female with a bird directly on her head; wish I had a camera. You would have loved it. Here's to hope, Carolyn

  6. I used to have migraines all the time-- could have used your patron saint for cheering up :)
It turns out my deviated septum caused it (which I thought to ask my doctor--nobody ever bothered to look at my nose before) have you thought of checking that out? I was on imitrex for a while, and it just made my head feel heavy.
